Who we are

PrintOnPaper ("we") runs an online printing service from PrintOnPaper Studio, MG Road, Kochi, Kerala 682016. We decide how your personal data is used, so under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the data fiduciary. Questions: [email protected].

What we collect

Contact details: your name, mobile number and, if you give it, your email.

Delivery details: your address and landmark, only if you choose doorstep delivery.

Your files and settings: the documents and photos you upload, the pages you design, crop or turn, and your print choices.

Payment records: the amount, order code and Razorpay payment reference. Your card, UPI or bank details go straight to Razorpay and never reach us.

Technical data: your IP address and browser details in our server logs, used only to keep the site secure and working.

Usage data, only if you accept analytics: which pages and features you use, and how you click and scroll, through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Text you type in forms is not recorded. See our cookie policy.

Why we use it

To print, finish and hand over or deliver your order, to send you updates about it by WhatsApp, SMS, phone or email, to help you when you contact us, to keep accounts as Indian tax law requires, and to prevent fraud and misuse.

You give your consent when you place an order. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us, but we may then be unable to complete an order that is in progress. We do not use your data for advertising and we never sell it.

Your files

Your files are seen only by the staff who print your order. We never use them for anything else, never share them except as below, and never use them to train software.

The page designer works inside your browser. Your photos leave your device only when you add the finished design to your order.

How long we keep it

Files uploaded but never ordered are deleted after 3 days.

Files of an order are deleted 60 days after the order date once it is completed, cancelled or left unpaid. Ask us and we will delete them sooner.

Order records (name, mobile number, items and amounts) are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require, usually 8 years.

Server logs are kept for a short time for security and then deleted.

Who we share it with

Razorpay, to take your payment. Resend, which sends our order emails to the address you give. Google and Microsoft, only if you accept analytics. Our delivery partner, only your name, mobile number and address, when you choose delivery. Our hosting provider, which stores data on our behalf. Government authorities, only when the law requires it.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, access to orders and files is limited to our staff with a password, and payments are handled by Razorpay, which is PCI DSS compliant. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect your data and will tell you and the authorities as the law requires if a breach affects you.

Your rights

You can ask for a summary of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to delete it (subject to what the law requires us to keep), withdraw consent, and name someone to act for you if you are unable to. Email us from the address or mobile number linked to your order, and we will reply within 30 days.

Children

If you are under 18, please place orders with the help of a parent or guardian.

Grievance officer

For any complaint about your data, contact Grievance Officer, PrintOnPaper at [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

We will update this page if our practices change, and change the date at the top.
